A Chrsitmas Carol (聖誕鐘聲 / 小氣財神) --A version for Readers' Theater

Dear babies,
with the advent of the holiday season, it's a good time for us to read something about Christmas. As we discussed in the classroom, it is in hope that you can try your best to memory the lines and act them out vividly.

Also, for babies who are willing to major in foreign languages, knowing how a theater runs and goes is a significant thing since you will definitely have chances to have your own play on the stage after you attend universities.

The following are some links regarding to the theme, A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens in our text book currently. Sit back relaxed and enjoy the play!

小氣財神Scrooge老而孤獨,是六親不認的吝嗇鬼。 他愛錢如命;

Scrooge

他安靜地回想所見所聽到的一切;
Alms

Scrooge送給他們的聖誕禮物;

I am not sure what kind of institute "WPTC" is. There is no denying that the setting and the play of WPTC is really awesome. Most babies will absolute have the chance to experience the production of a play. Bye the way, I really love the first part of the presentation of Christmas Carol. It's really creative and impressive.

5. links from Blackadder(黑爵士), a comedy series of BBC, UK. It's like a satire that makes fun of well-known stories.

introduction:

In a twist on Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, Ebenezer Blackadder is the "kindest and loveliest" man in England, and could be considered to be the 'white sheep' of the Blackadder Family.

One of the ghosts that so effectively convinced Ebenezer Scrooge to change his miserly ways displays for this Blackadder the contrary antics of his ancestors and descendants, and reluctantly informs him that if he turns evil his descendents will enjoy power and fortune, while if he remains the same a future Blackadder will live shamefully subjugated to a future incompetent Baldrick.

This remarkable encounter causes him to proclaim, "Bad guys have all the fun", and adopt the personality with which viewers are more familiar
